3. Advent - Third Idea

After the last week was passing by with some new bad personal issues - my mum was suddenly hospitalized for two days and my son had the worst nocturnal vomiting I´d ever seen, now my daughter is ill.

Nocturnal Vomiting, of course...

No more details here - everybody who have children, knows what I mean and the other ones, don´t really want to know, believe me.

As promised there are some more visual items for Christmas in our house.

See some vignettes I placed in front of our windows in the dining room ...

I´m using the candle holder during the whole year. The little ones are placed in the hallway and with the bigger ones I sometimes style the coffetable or the niche at the second window of the room.

Yes, my dears. In the background you could have a sneak peak at our Norm 69 from Norman Copenhagen.

And of course there are the ultimative Adventskalender from Hot Wheels for my boy and the Monster High for my daughter.

Every year I hang red and green little sacs with little gifts at our stairs (in our last flat we had a wonderful stair, too) for the kids.
This year we stoffed them with cotton and hang them on the stairs.

My kiddies only wanted some of this horrible plastic stuff.
They are very satisfied every morning and the parents are rolling the eyes...

Say Hello to the lady mirrowed in the glas ;-)
Normally in the edge of the window, near my Hirschgeweihfarn, the bigger candle holder is lightning the old clock of D.´s Grandfather.

According to have some little changings for the festive season and to have a kinf of visual repetition for a white star lightning the window, I choose something very "Bling Bling".

The silver star was lightning the room of my daughter last year, but unfortunally the string of lights are out of order know and we couldn´t fix it without destroying the back of the star.

Not so bad for my taste, if it only brings a little bit of glimmer in combination with a lot of larch cones, cinnamon sticks and stars made of birch bark.

Oh, don´t be in despair. Emily got a wonderful string of lights made of white little stars around her bed - very romantic for my little lady...

Now, I hear her in the bathroom. I have to have a look how she feels today.

Hope to see you soon with a lot of Good News here on my site!

Wish you all the best,

Yours, Ria

So sorry to read about your Mum Ria, and your sick children. Nocturnal vomiting - I haven't heard of it being referred to like that before, but I know exactly what you mean! I hope they all get better soon. And that their poor Mummy is ok too - it's horrible when your children are sick. I bet you are exhausted. Take care x

Liebe Grüße,
