Today I would like to invite you first in our living room.
Normally we decorated our christmas tree traditional in white and red.
We bought a lot of red and white figures made of felt and papier-maché like stars, hearts and reindeers, combined with straw stars.
We do so, because the last seven years, we had two children and a little dog. They loved to decorate for Christmas and they loved to dance or jump through the whole house in this season.
After we had lost several of nice glass bowls, I decided enough is enough and we started our white and red nordic kids and dog friendly version of Christmas.
This year, the kids are more coordinated in dancing and jumping and the dog hopefully knows, that this special tree is not that one he is allowed to cock his leg, I want to have it a lit bit more "Bling Bling"...
We will have a tree. We will buy it at the last possible second, as every year and the kids will find the perfect one who fits in the edge of the room - no doubt abou this.
But I would like to have the rest of the glass bowls on it. We will see.
Yes, this is definitvly NON simple nordic chic or black and white or simple.
THIS IS BLING BLING.
All the stuff you could see is a mix match of things I´m collected over 20 years and this year I add it the first time together. The only new one is the copper leave and two metallic candles in copper.
I have to admit that the wreath is 10 years old, too.
To much for you? Not falling into despair to soon. The other rooms like the kitchen, the hallway, the stairs and the dining room are decorated very reduced and more natural.
But this is another post...

That is so beautiful! It's just the right amount of bling for the holidays, I think. I especially love the red and green piece in the center. I can't wait to see the rest of your decorations.
I love the decorations you have in the picture Ria - there can never be too much bling bling at this time of year!
